You’re right there. however how about putting verses on the handlebar instead where the kedudukan is selari dengan tangan. That should be appropriate, macam letak doa/ayat kat dalam kereta wouldnt you think?
I do feel quran verses is better than pantun/sajak/kata2 dari orang/quotes..
And it’s a good message to share with other youngsters that I ride with… better than putting on stickers of nike/quicksilver/etc on the bicycle.
Maaf lah Aidil. I have still to disagree. You also to have wudhu’ to touch the verse, thus the handle and everything else. So I don’t know. Some scholars even say that you can’t put the framed Quranic verses in your bedroom where there is a possibility of nakedness being shown in front of it, thus disrespecting it.
Is the concern about using the arabic text? How about translations into the malay language?
I just feel that if the quran is to be the way of life, then the words of the quran should freely be available for everyone to see. Should this not be the case? I fear one day people will forget the words (if it’s not already happening…).
Maybe, I’ll just use these chinese proverbs:
“If you get up one more time than you fall you will make it through.”
“Failure is not falling down but refusing to get up.”
or a hadith:
“God loves, when one of you is doing something, that he [or she] does it in the most excellent manner.”
